The Analects is a collection of sayings and ideas attributed to Confucius and his disciples, compiled during the early Warring States period. Comprising 20 books and 512 chapters, it covers politics, education, ethics, and philosophy — forming the cornerstone of Confucian thought that has profoundly shaped East Asian civilization for over 2,500 years.
